The Brand Marketing organization is looking for a leader with experience driving high impact integrated campaigns in a fast-growing global company. We are looking for someone who understands how to translate consumer truths into compelling narratives, and is passionate about connecting people through storytelling and activations.
Ideal candidates have a deep knowledge in consumer and media trends, an ability to motivate, inspire and align cross functional partners, and a track record for culturally-relevant campaigns that gain media attention and drive consumer engagement. The right individual will bring a balanced combination of vision, ambition, judgment, creativity, and critical thinking - all with the passion and enthusiasm for building the Coinbase brand and advancing the crypto movement.
What You'll Be Doing (i.e., Job Duties)
- Drive end to end implementation of integrated marketing campaigns and breakthrough customer experiences across paid, owned and earned, including brand and product, sponsorship (NBA, Live Nation), and community based programs.
- Develop the campaign calendar, working closely with Product Marketing, Partnerships, Brand Media, Insights, Analytics and agency partners to craft joint programs that grow the Coinbase brand.
- Become an expert of Coinbase products and audiences.
- Drive stakeholder communication and alignment for successful execution, optimization and measurement.
- Build out Integrated Campaigns function, leading current team and hiring and coaching as we scale globally.
- Partner with the Insights team and external partners to design and analyze research.
- Bring to life human insights that champion our community, to inform creative briefs.
- Deliver creative briefings, collaborating with and supporting creative teams throughout the process.
- Drive and apply strategy across diverse, concurrent campaigns, partnerships and activities.
- Contextualize crypto / market trends and audience behavior to inform strategy.
- Deliver measurable increase in brand awareness across all audiences.
What We Look For In You (ie. Job Requirements)
- 12+ years of experience in roles of growing responsibility at a global consumer brand(s) .
- Proven experience leading full integrated brand campaigns
- Experience hiring and coaching a team.
- Comfort working in a high growth, continuously evolving environment.
- A strong interest in crypto and a passion to drive the economic freedom it can offer.
- Best-in-class marketing, communication, project and team management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Strategic-thinker with a high degree of creativity to execute on high-impact, high-leverage, innovative materials and programs.
- Experience with consumer tech or mission-driven brand on a global level a plus.
- Strong data and analytical skills and the ability to make strategic budgetary tradeoffs to accomplish goals.
